At a recent press conference, Energy Minister Talaybek Ibraev announced that the population of the country is fully meeting its electricity payment obligations.
According to him, there are currently no issues with accounts receivable. “Previously, we had to conduct raids with journalists, look for non-payers, disconnect their electricity, and take them to court. Today, there is no such situation. We are grateful to our people, who pay their electricity bills 100%. In case of non-payment, electricity supply is automatically suspended using a special program, and after payment is made, the connection is restored instantly,” Ibraev added.
