According to him, as in previous winter seasons, the republic will import electricity from neighboring countries at a price of 3 soms per kilowatt, while the tariff for the population will be 1 som 37 tyiyns.

The difference in tariffs will be reflected as debt on the balance sheet of NESK.
“The president has instructed to reduce import volumes, use energy more efficiently, and pay off the remaining debt of 25 billion soms next year. We plan to completely eliminate debts by 2026 and start making a profit. By the winter of 2028-2029, the republic should achieve self-sufficiency in electricity,” the minister added.
