Agency representatives explained that the deposit protection system is designed to ensure the safety of depositors of banks, microfinance institutions, and housing savings credit companies that have a license from the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic to accept deposits. In the event of a guaranteed case, depositors will be able to receive compensation in accordance with the law.
The founders of the new bank are Nurgoyoev Nurdolett, the younger son of President Sadyr Japarov, and Marat Sultanov, the former speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh. This information is confirmed by data from the Ministry of Justice of Kyrgyzstan. The bank is headed by Jarkynbek Sagyndykov, who previously held high positions at JSC "Bakay Bank" and was the chairman of the board of JSC "Commercial Bank 'Kyrgyzstan'" (now MBANK), as well as leading the bank "Bai-Tushum".
The license for the establishment of JSC "Berekett Bank" was issued by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic on October 10, 2025, and registration with the Ministry of Justice took place on October 20, 2025. The bank has a commercial focus in its activities.
