As part of the event reported by the press service of the GNS, the deputy heads of the service — Azat Almanbetov and Kubanychbek Ysabekov — were gathered, along with representatives from organizations such as the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Antimonopoly Regulation Service, the Interbank Processing Center, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, and the Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan.
The main goal of the meeting was to develop joint approaches and solutions aimed at improving conditions for entrepreneurs and consumers, as well as creating a transparent and equal environment for doing business and ensuring the stable operation of cashless payment instruments.
During the discussion, emphasis was placed on the use of cashless payments, including QR codes and electronic wallets. Participants examined the practical problems faced by entrepreneurs when accepting such payments and discussed issues related to the convenience, transparency, and security of transactions.
Attention was also given to the difficulties arising from the transition to payment instruments registered to individual entrepreneurs and legal entities. Participants noted that resolving these issues falls within the competence of banks and relevant organizations.
Additionally, questions regarding the speed of fund transfers, optimization of tariff policies, and reduction of administrative procedures related to opening accounts and electronic wallets were discussed. All these aspects are crucial for the daily operations of businesses.
All attendees expressed their readiness for constructive cooperation and active search for solutions that promote the development of cashless payments, taking into account the interests of businesses and citizens.
The GNS will continue its systematic work to create favorable conditions for entrepreneurship, develop modern payment infrastructure, and strengthen the transparent economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
