Control purchases and raids will not be conducted until the end of 2026
The State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan has decided to temporarily suspend raid inspections and control purchases concerning small and medium businesses, which will remain in effect until December 31, 2026.
This decision was made to support entrepreneurs, reduce pressure on businesses, and create more favorable conditions for their operations.
Thus, the tax authorities will not conduct inspections of small and medium businesses on the following issues:
- use of cash registers;
- issuance of invoices;
- operation of terminals for card payments;
- payments through electronic money and QR codes;
- availability of necessary documents for goods.
This measure applies to those entrepreneurs who:
- operate under a simplified system and pay a single tax of 0% or 0.5%;
- conduct activities based on a patent;
- trade in special tax zones;
- engage in sewing or textile production with a tax of 0.25%.
However, it is important to note that this exemption from inspections does not apply to everyone. The tax service will continue to inspect those who:
- conduct activities without registration or a patent;
- have become the subject of complaints from citizens or organizations;
- have tax debts or do not pay wages to their employees;
- sell excise goods (alcohol, tobacco, etc.) — in such cases, excise stamps will be checked.
In addition, the tax service announced its intention to assist entrepreneurs by explaining the rules, training them in the use of cash registers, invoices, terminals, cards, and QR codes, as well as providing practical support.
