The state operator Mega has a new CEO

According to the decision of the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held on February 18, Mederbek Kurmanbekov has been appointed as the new General Director of JSC "Alfa Telecom." This was reported by company representatives.

Prior to this, Kurmanbekov held the position of First Deputy General Director from October 2023 to August 2024.

Then, from August 2024 to February 2026, he worked as the Director of Economics, Finance, and Strategic Development at JSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan," being a member of the board.

The company noted that the appointment is aimed at ensuring sustainable development and strengthening the positions of JSC "Alfa Telecom" in the market, as well as implementing key areas of activity in the interests of subscribers and the state.
