As a result of an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held on February 2, OJSC "Aiyl Bank" decided to change its name to "ABank." This information was published by the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange.

At the meeting, the main agenda item was the approval of a new version of the charter related to the bank's renaming. Shareholders approved the updated charter of OJSC "ABank" and made a decision on the necessity of re-registration with the jurisdictional authorities and other state institutions of the country.

After completing all re-registration procedures, the bank will operate under the new name - OJSC "ABank."

OJSC "Aiyl Bank" was established by the government of the Kyrgyz Republic in 1996 with the support of the World Bank and was initially named "Kyrgyz Agricultural Finance Corporation" (KAFC). The main task of KAFC was to provide loans to private farmers and rural producers on a sustainable basis.
