The initial odds from bookmakers favored Isaac Dulgarian, but soon the odds changed. The company Integrity Compliance 360 (IC360), which monitors betting, reported suspicious activity related to bets on del Valle's victory. As a result, some bookmakers suspended betting on this fight, while others offered refunds to clients who had placed bets.

Dulgarian, who is 29 years old, has a record of seven wins and two losses. Following the scandal, he was removed from the UFC. His opponent, del Valle, also 29 years old, has won ten fights in the UFC. At the UFC Fight Night 263 event, del Valle defeated Dulgarian by submission in the first round. This is not the first time the UFC has faced allegations of violations in fight betting.
In 2022, American fighter Derrick Minner lost a fight in the first round immediately after a sharp change in betting lines for his match against Chinese fighter Shailan Nurdanbek. Because of this, many bookmakers effectively stopped accepting bets on the UFC. In 2023, another American fighter, Jeff Molina, was suspended and received a three-year ban from the Nevada Athletic Commission for "significant betting" on the fight with Minner, with whom he was training at the time. The next numbered UFC event will take place on the night of November 16 (Moscow time) at Madison Square Garden in New York, where the main event will be a title fight in the welterweight division between current UFC champion Australian Jack Della Maddalena and former UFC lightweight champion Russian Islam Makhachev.
