The visit of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, to Berlin provided an opportunity to participate in the 5th meeting of the Kyrgyz-German Business Council, as reported by government representatives.

In his opening remarks, he noted that "the partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Germany has a long history based on trust, respect, and a commitment to sustainable development."

Furthermore, Kasymaliev confirmed that the business forum held as part of the "Days of the Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Germany" demonstrated a high interest from both sides in deepening cooperation. He added that open dialogue and negotiations create new opportunities for expanding economic ties, implementing modern technologies, and realizing joint investment projects.

During the Council meeting, Adylbek Kasymaliev proposed to focus on three main areas of interaction.

The first area concerns financial and banking cooperation. An important step to activate trade and economic ties is the development of direct correspondent relationships between the banking institutions of both countries, which will make financial operations more transparent and efficient. Kyrgyzstan is ready to provide the necessary support in institutional and regulatory aspects.

The second area is related to education and workforce training. Kyrgyzstan is interested in expanding cooperation with German universities and vocational colleges, as well as in developing academic exchange programs and joint training, taking into account Germany's important experience in the dual education system.

The third area is migration cooperation.

"The Kyrgyz side proposes to jointly develop programs for targeted workforce training, which include professional and language training, as well as mechanisms for recognizing professional skills. This will help create favorable working conditions and protect the rights of Kyrgyz citizens, corresponding to the needs of the German labor market," the head of the Cabinet noted.

As a result of the discussions, Kasymaliev proposed to create a working group for further work on the outlined areas, to move towards real actions and project implementation.

"We are confident that systematic interaction and the involvement of businesses, government structures, and educational institutions will create a solid foundation for achieving successful results. The Kyrgyz Republic is open to cooperation, investments, and joint initiatives. We are ready to move forward considering mutually beneficial interests," concluded Adylbek Kasymaliev.
