





The first tour of the ballet troupe of the Kyrgyz National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after A. Maldybaev in Spain concluded with great success. This was reported by the theater.
From December 8 to 23, audiences in the cities of Zaragoza, Calpe, Riba-Roja de Ebro, Xativa, Alicante, La Nucia, and Gandia enthusiastically received the performances of Kyrgyz artists. The tour program included masterpieces of world classics, such as the famous "Swan Lake," the New Year's "Nutcracker" by P. Tchaikovsky, and the vibrant "Don Quixote" by L. Minkus.
The theater noted that new, bright, and colorful costumes were quickly prepared for the tour, which impressed the European audience.
This tour was organized as part of a memorandum of cooperation between the A. Maldybaev Opera and Ballet Theater and the company "GLOBAL SHOWTIME SERVICES S.R.L" under the leadership of José Manuel Tahada Regidor. All expenses for the project were covered by this company.
Forty-five artists of the Kyrgyz ballet participated in the tour, led by the general director – People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Muratbek Begaliev and the chief choreographer – People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Aizada Tumakova.
It is planned that the Kyrgyz and Spanish sides will continue cooperation, creating joint projects involving leading theater specialists, as well as conducting tours and concerts, showcasing the best performances of both world and national classics, as well as works by contemporary authors.
