Stars of the world opera will perform at the Bishkek festival
From December 13 to 14, the V International Opera Art Festival, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the People's Artist of the USSR and Professor Bulat Minzhylkiyev, will take place in the Malachite Hall of the Abdyla Maldybaev Kyrgyz National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet.
According to the Ministry of Culture, well-known artists will gather at the gala concert: Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Tural Agasiev, Honored Artist of Tajikistan Saifullo Yusupov, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Kirill Borchaninov, Kazakhstan's international competition laureate Tair Taji, Russian laureate Pavel Yankovsky, and Tunkay Kurtoglu from Turkey.
“Outstanding voices of Kyrgyz opera will also perform at the festival, including People's Artists Asel Bekbaeva and Bakyt Ybykeev, as well as Honored Artists Aizirek Momunova, Zairu Raimbekova, Aibek Saralaev, and soloists Oksana Shutova, Ermek Maraimov, and Tair Beysheev,” the statement says.
Conductors of the concert will be People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Jumakady Kanimetov, as well as Zakhar Butenko and Semetey Sultanov.
It is noted that the events are scheduled to start at 15:00.
