The documentary film festival on human rights will take place in Bishkek

From December 12 to 16, Bishkek will host the XIX International Documentary Film Festival dedicated to human rights, under the motto "Resilience in Times of Crisis." This became known thanks to the public association "Bir Duyno Kyrgyzstan."

As part of the festival, 22 documentary films from various countries will be presented, including those from the CIS, the USA, Germany, and New Zealand.

The festival will open with the premiere of the film "Mandate," created by Swiss director Stefan Ziegler. It took eight years to produce. Previous premieres were successfully held in Albania and Tunisia, and the screening in Bishkek will be the first for this film in Central Asia.

The festival program also includes expert laboratories, featuring 11 specialists from France. These experts will address topics related to the promotion of human rights, the development of civil society, and the protection of freedoms.

The opening ceremony will take place on December 12 at 17:00 at the following address: Gorky Street, 1/2, "Technopark," Event Metta Hall.
