In the Uzgen district, which includes 12 rural administrations and one city, issues related to the expansion of residential areas are actively being discussed. As reported by the district akim of the Osh region, Kanibek Apbasov, in an interview with the "Kabar" agency, meetings and gatherings at the level of rural administrations are held regularly, as well as weekly receptions for citizens, where requests are accepted even outside the established schedule.
“We try not to refuse people in receiving them and solve problems on the spot. Recently, residents have been actively raising the issue of constructing a dam on the Kara-Darya River, which will allow the use of new land plots for building houses,” he noted.
According to Apbasov, work on this project has already begun, and the construction of apartment buildings is being carried out through the State Investment Corporation. In the future, it is planned to develop another 11 hectares of land.
The akim added that all requests received within the framework of the People's Kurultai are recorded in writing and are under consideration.
“The implementation of the orders of President Sadyr Japarov is at 80%. The remaining tasks require more time, but they are also in progress,” he stated.
Moreover, Apbasov noted that the IV People's Kurultai was significantly more successful than the previous one. The behavior of the delegates has improved, and such events are becoming increasingly necessary. Important and systemic issues are raised every year, he concluded.
