In the rural district of Manas in the Kara-Suu region of the Osh province, residents of quarter No. 233 expressed dissatisfaction with the condition of local roads. According to local residents, during rain and snow, the potholes on the roadway fill with water, creating difficulties in movement.

Moreover, residents face a lack of public transport, which forces them to walk about a kilometer to reach the main highway. One local resident noted that Nurkamil Jumayev Street in quarter No. 233 is in particularly poor condition, and local authorities only add gravel to the road.

He also reported that route No. 105, which previously serviced the quarter, no longer comes here due to the poor condition of the road.

The deputy head of the Manas rural administration, Tynybek Toktosunov, in response to these complaints, stated that a bridge has already been built in the quarter and the local health post has been repaired. He added that the issue with the transformer will be resolved soon. “We recently built a bridge for this village. The health post was also repaired at the request of local residents. In cooperation with the Kara-Suu Electric Network, we are working on the transformer issue, and a solution is close. Paving the road is planned for next year,” Toktosunov noted.

It is worth mentioning that quarter No. 233 was previously part of the city of Osh but was annexed to the Manas rural administration after the administrative-territorial reform.
