In the village of Ak-Chiy, located in the rural district of Kara-Burgon in the Ak-Tal region of Naryn Province, a major repair of Usta Turduke Street is planned. To lay asphalt on the first section, which is 883.1 meters long, 2 million 107 thousand 986 soms are required.

A funding request has been submitted by the leadership of the Kara-Burgon rural administration as part of a shared (incentive) grant.

According to information posted on the "Open Budget" portal, the local budget of the mayor's office plans to allocate 2 million 984 thousand 212 soms for the year 2026. Additionally, 1 million 686 thousand 389 soms are needed in the form of a shared (incentive) grant.

Issue:

“Since the last repair of Usta Turduke Street in 1990, this issue has been raised multiple times at community gatherings and meetings with district and regional leadership. The road, which has not been repaired for so many years, poses a serious obstacle for vehicles and pedestrians, especially for children attending local educational institutions during rainy weather.

In the summer and autumn periods, heavily dusty sections of the road harm the health of local residents: the dust that rises into the air leads to respiratory illnesses and exacerbates conditions such as allergies, coughs, and asthma. This situation poses a particular threat to teenagers and elderly people over 60, as regularly warned by medical institutions in the district and village.

Moreover, the issue of road safety remains unresolved, contributing to a high level of traffic accidents.”
