The Turmush publication continues the series "Жеңеке," sharing stories from the lives of daughters-in-law and brides.

The project aims to highlight the importance of family values and showcase the talents of married women.

Zharkynai Alymova, born in Bishkek in 1997 and raised in the Issyk-Kul region, works as a teacher in Orlovka, Kemin district of Chui region.

She met her future husband at her cousin's wedding, where they were both friends. At 22, she got married.

Zharkynai says that at the beginning of her marriage, she didn't have any interesting stories to remember. "My new family was serious and reserved, and not everyone understood my jokes. In Issyk-Kul, girls bow to elders, but this is not customary in the Chui region. I remember bowing to everyone I knew, and they looked at me in surprise. I felt awkward, but over time I got used to it and just greet people," she noted.

Zharkynai studied in the village of Ak-Terek until the 7th grade and finished the 11th grade in Bishkek. "My childhood was spent with my grandmother on the shores of Issyk-Kul. After school, I decided to study journalism. My grandmother, a teacher by profession, convinced me of the importance of this profession. In the end, I enrolled in the philological faculty of J. Balasagyn University and continued my studies in graduate school," she explained.

During her studies, Zharkynai was interested in journalism, looking for job opportunities and interning at television channels, hoping to fulfill her dream.

After getting married, she moved to Orlovka and, in her 5 years of marriage, raised two daughters: Ajar (4 years) and Dariya (2.5 years). "I got a job as a teacher at school No. 1 in Orlovka to apply my knowledge. And although I initially didn't want to be a teacher, from the first days of work, I realized that I liked it. Working with children makes me happy and allows me to learn a lot of new things. I believe this is a convenient job for women with children, as it has a schedule. The teaching profession requires responsibility. One must constantly develop to educate the new generation," she added.

Zharkynai considers the joy of giving birth to her daughters one of the greatest happinesses in life. "I have no regrets, and everything happens by the will of the Almighty. In my free time, I pay attention to my daughters, who now require a lot of care. The first six months of work were challenging, but with the support of my husband and colleagues, I managed. I hope to contribute to the improvement of education and the development of the Kyrgyz language, especially in Orlovka, where there are many Russian speakers. It is important to create interesting methods for learning the Kyrgyz language," she concluded.
