In the Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region, in the village of Teploklyuchenka, lives Aysuluu Kerimbekova, who has been working as an astronomy teacher for 12 years.

In an interview with a Turmush correspondent, she shared her experience working at the school where she once studied herself. "I was born in 1988. After graduating from Kirov Gymnasium, I enrolled in the Physics and Technology Faculty of Issyk-Kul State University. In my childhood, I dreamed of becoming a doctor and wearing a white coat. However, due to the results of the nationwide testing, I became a physics teacher. After returning to my alma mater, I now work with the same teachers who taught me," Aysuluu recounts.

Many are amazed at how she manages to combine work in two places and be a mother of five. "I have five children: the oldest is 9 years old, and the youngest is one and a half. Usually, I do not take maternity leave and return to my duties immediately after giving birth. In addition to school, I also teach at the Ak-Suu District Center for Children's Education. I often hear the question: 'How do you manage to do everything?' My work is related to the exact sciences, so I always plan my time carefully," she shares.

Aysuluu Kerimbekova has achieved many successes in teaching astronomy. At the Ak-Suu District Center for Education, she heads the astrophysics section. "In our section, there are 45 children from three groups who show interest in natural phenomena and space. They ask many questions about stars, their names and locations, as well as about life on other planets. We create models of planets and stars, participate in international competitions where we show good results. This year, I participated in the 'Teacher of the Year' competition and successfully passed the selection at the district level," she adds.
