
Edil Baisalov emphasized that the new school will play a key role in educating children and teenagers, promoting a healthy lifestyle, as well as training personnel for winter sports. He noted that such institutions should not only prepare athletes but also train professional instructors who will be in demand at new resorts across the country. According to him, this represents an investment in human capital, the creation of jobs for youth, and sustainable development of regions, especially in light of the active improvement of ski infrastructure.
During the event, a meeting was organized with coaches, representatives of children's and youth sports schools, as well as specialists engaged in winter sports. Participants discussed issues related to the material and technical base, coach training, and attracting youth to sports activities.
As a result of the discussions, key directions for further work were developed, such as modernizing infrastructure, supporting coaching staff, and expanding the network of sports schools for children and youth in the regions.
As part of his working visit, Edil Baisalov also visited the K. Dosmanbetova Music School, a library, a House of Culture, and several other facilities.
