The school system of Kyrgyzstan will receive modern equipment that meets the requirements of the 21st century. This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Edil Baisalov, at the republican pedagogical meeting.

According to Baisalov, in 2024, by the president's directive, all teachers without exception will receive personal laptops.

“We plan to not just bring the internet to schools, but to ensure quality and reliable connectivity in every classroom so that digital services work stably. Under the guidance of the Cabinet of Ministers, the procurement of modern interactive screens, laboratory equipment, and robotics will begin, and extracurricular education will also be developed — clubs and projects where children can develop their talents not only in theory but also in practice. Every year, hundreds of new works of fiction will be delivered to school libraries and kindergartens as part of a state program that will launch in January in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture. We also intend to strengthen music and vocal education by creating school orchestras, as education encompasses not only academic disciplines but also the formation of cultural and aesthetic values. The sports infrastructure will be expanded, with new balls, mats, and other equipment purchased across the country to ensure that health and discipline become the norm for students,” noted the Deputy Head of the Cabinet.

He also emphasized that artificial intelligence has great potential.

“We have already acquired programs for intelligent tutors and will develop our own solutions. Our goal is to adapt the best international practices and implement them so that every student and teacher can fully realize their potential,” added Baisalov.
