At a joint meeting of six committees of the Jogorku Kenesh on December 23, Deputy Nilufar Alimjanova raised the issue of the shortage of student dormitories, which has been relevant for four years.
According to Baisalov, President Sadyr Japarov will soon sign a decree providing for the allocation of 2-3 billion soms in 2026 for the construction of dormitories in Bishkek and Osh, which will allow for thousands of places for students.
The official emphasized: "In the next three to four years, we will significantly change the situation for the better."
