At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh held on December 24, Deputy Mavlyanova emphasized that students in urban schools find it difficult to master the state language and proposed this solution as a way to improve the situation.

In response, Edil Baysalov reminded about the recent nationwide pedagogical conference where the need to strengthen the teaching of the Kyrgyz language was discussed.

According to him, a phased tightening of requirements for graduates regarding knowledge of the state language is planned. "In all educational institutions, including kindergartens and universities, it is necessary to ensure complete mastery of the Kyrgyz language. We are reviewing the programs and methods of teaching language and literature. At the same time, we are strengthening state guarantees for ethnic minorities so that they can study their native languages in schools," added the Deputy Prime Minister.

Baysalov noted that for citizens to fully participate in public life and have access to government positions, all residents of the country must be proficient in the state language.

Based on this, he expressed disagreement with the proposed quota of 30%, stating that both private and state kindergartens should create suitable conditions for children.
