National Statistics Committee: As of the end of 2025, Kyrgyzstan's GDP grew by 11.1%

According to preliminary estimates, the gross domestic product of Kyrgyzstan in 2025 amounted to over 1.9 trillion soms, which is 11.1 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.



The volume of industrial production in 2025 amounted to 799.7 billion soms, which is 10.6% more than in January-December 2024. The main contribution to growth was made by the pharmaceutical sector (an increase of 1.7 times), as well as the production of rubber and plastic products (up by 35.7%), building materials (up by 35.7%), paper and printing products (up by 30.5%), food and beverages (up by 30.1%), chemicals (up by 19.8%), and minerals (up by 14.2%).



Significant growth is also observed in the construction sector, where volumes increased by 21.1%, and in wholesale and retail trade — by 17.8%. Agriculture showed a slight increase of 2.2%.

From January to December 2025, the republic experienced an overall increase in consumer prices and tariffs of 9.4%. Prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages rose by 9.9%, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products by 8%, while non-food goods increased by 7.8%. Tariffs for services to the population increased by 11.2%.

In December 2025, compared to the same month in 2024, price and tariff increases were recorded in all regions. The largest price increase (11.6%) was noted in the Osh region, which is associated with rising prices for non-food goods (up by 12%) and service tariffs (up by 13.5%). In the Chuy region, the highest price increase for food and non-alcoholic beverages was recorded at 13.1%, while in the Issyk-Kul region, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products increased by 14.4%.

The volume of foreign trade of the Kyrgyz Republic from January to November 2025 amounted to 14 billion US dollars, which is 12.2% less compared to the same period in 2024. At the same time, exports decreased by 43.5%, while imports, on the contrary, increased by 0.5%.

Mutual trade with the EAEU member states during the same period amounted to 4.9 billion US dollars, which is 1.3% more than in January-November 2024. The largest share of mutual trade was with Russia (64.1%) and Kazakhstan (33.5%).
