Adylbek Kasymaliev, holding the position of Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan, met with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, during the World Government Summit.
During the negotiations, he thanked the organizers for the opportunity to participate in the summit and for their traditional hospitality. Additionally, Kasymaliev conveyed sincere wishes from the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his deputy.
In his speech, he noted that there has been a steady development of relations between Kyrgyzstan and the UAE in recent years. Starting in 2025, the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates will begin functioning in the country.
“The UAE is one of Kyrgyzstan's main trading partners in the Middle East region,” he emphasized.
As of 2025, the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to approximately 150 million US dollars. These figures give us optimism. To further strengthen economic cooperation, the 3rd meeting of the Kyrgyz-Emirati Intergovernmental Commission is scheduled to take place in Bishkek this year,” he added.
Kasymaliev also proposed to consider the possibility of introducing a visa-free regime for citizens of Kyrgyzstan, which would simplify the conditions for staying in the UAE and help develop mutual relations and business ties.
Furthermore, he invited representatives from the Emirati side to actively participate in the investment forum, which will be held in Bishkek in April 2026 in the format of “Gulf Cooperation Council - Central Asia.”
Adylbek Kasymaliev also suggested to Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan to send experts from major sovereign funds of the UAE to Kyrgyzstan to study global investment projects.
In response, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two countries and confirmed the Emirati side's readiness to strengthen economic ties and develop business.
During the discussion, key aspects of trade and economic interaction, investment attraction, and the implementation of joint projects in priority sectors were addressed.
