Currently, the forum "Agrodialog - 2026" is taking place in Kyrgyzstan, where 46-year-old Junushaliev from the village of Chaldybar shares his experience and offers ideas for the development of the tourism sector.
“My garden is located in the village of Taldy-Bulak, between two mountains. I am originally from Kenjebay. When I was young and herding sheep, I was inspired by the local nature, and at that moment I decided that one day I would create my own garden. At the age of 31, I started planting apple trees, apricots, grapes, and other crops. The path to success was not easy: the soil at the foot of the mountains was rocky. I worked hard, clearing the land of stones, and gradually developed horticulture,” Bektur recounts.
Today, on his 2.5 hectares of land, he grows apples of the Golden and Semerenko varieties, as well as pears, apricots, grapes, strawberries, and raspberries. The yield is impressive, which allowed him to become the champion at the "Agrodialog - 2026" forum. Interest in his garden is constantly growing, and last year he hosted guests from China, the USA, Germany, and Japan, who exchanged experiences and enjoyed the beauty of nature. “This is a pride for me and for our people. Foreign tourists not only got acquainted with the garden but also rested, admiring the beauties of Kyrgyz land,” he added.
He also mentioned that in addition to growing fruits and berries, he cultivates different varieties of flowers and transforms the foothills into a blooming garden.
“I really love flowers. Early in the morning, I water them and talk to them, and they seem to listen to me. With the arrival of tourists, I decided to focus on the development of tourism,” the farmer noted.
