On the afternoon of March 4, 2026, at 22:42, a report was received about a traffic violation in the village of Ak-Jol, near a stationary post, in the Sokuluk district. Employees of the investigative-operational group arrived at the scene promptly, as noted by the Main Internal Affairs Department of the Chui region.
The preliminary investigation showed that at 22:20, citizen K.Z., while driving a white "VAZ 2106" car in a state of severe alcohol and drug intoxication, along with passengers M.A. and A.A., committed traffic violations on the Bishkek–Manas road, right in front of the traffic police post.
After receiving a radio signal that the driver was creating a dangerous situation and not responding to the lawful demands of the police, the traffic police attempted to stop him. However, K.Z. began to flee, which led to a chase.
During the pursuit, K.Z.'s vehicle collided with two patrol cars — a Renault Logan and a Chevrolet Cobalt, damaging their bumpers. After that, the driver and his passengers attempted to escape, scattering in different directions.
The police were forced to fire warning shots into the air. Two suspects were detained at the scene, while K.Z. resisted, using violence and insulting the police officer, tearing his uniform. The third participant was detained an hour later.
A narcological examination confirmed that K.Z. and his passengers M.A. and A.A. tested positive for narcotic substances and alcohol.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 280 (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The detained suspects: K.Z., born in 2002, M.A., born in 1999, and A.A., born in 2001, have been placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
