K.K. uulu, a 32-year-old resident of the village of Studencheskoye in the Sokuluk district of the Chui region, became a victim of two unknown individuals who threatened him and stole his Renault Logan car. This incident occurred on November 28, 2025, at midnight.

In an interview with a Turmush correspondent, the taxi driver shared the details of the incident:

“My car is a 2007 model, registered in my wife Samara's name. I worked as a taxi driver to support my family. However, now I have been out of work for almost two months.”

That evening, he received an order from the address: K.Kuliev Street, house No. 66. As soon as he arrived, two men got into the car and asked to be taken to the village of Kaltar. Upon arrival, they began to threaten him, one of them holding a knife. After that, they demanded to be taken back. Under the pressure of fear, the taxi driver agreed. At the intersection of Kuliev and Pushkin streets, the passengers twisted his arms, took the keys from the car, and sat him in the back seat. Both were drunk. When they started driving, they were stopped by inspectors who noticed that the driver was in a state of alcohol intoxication. As a result, all three were taken to the narcology department.

Here, in a state of shock, the taxi driver could only partially recount what had happened. The narcology department confirmed that the passengers were under the influence of alcohol and advised him to obtain a report on their aggression. The car was placed in an impound lot on the night from Friday to Saturday.

Three days later, on Monday, still in a state of shock, he filed a complaint with the Lenin District Department of Internal Affairs. The investigator promised that the culprits would be easily found and would contact him. However, he never got in touch again, and the car remained in the impound lot.

By contacting the Bishkek City Traffic Safety Department, the taxi driver learned that the case had been sent to court. In court, he was informed that a decision would be ready within 10 days. On December 29, the decision was returned to the Traffic Safety Department, and he was told that the car could be picked up in two days. However, this deadline coincided with December 31. When he called the provided number, he was asked to wait until the New Year holidays were over. After the holidays, it turned out that the protocol was lost. The court claims it sent it by mail, while the Traffic Safety Department states that they did not receive the document. As a result, the car was never returned, and he remained unemployed.

The taxi driver added that during the investigation, it was established that one of those guys had recently been released from prison — this was confirmed by the database. He is on record, but he was not detained.

Later, the press service of the Lenin District Internal Affairs Directorate in Bishkek reported to Turmush that a citizen K. u. K. had submitted a written request to the Lenin District Internal Affairs Directorate asking for measures to be taken against unknown individuals who, on November 29, 2025, around 02:00, at the intersection of Pushkin and Kuliev streets, inflicted bodily harm on him without cause.

The investigative department of the Lenin District Internal Affairs Directorate in Bishkek has initiated a criminal case under Article 280 (“Hooliganism”) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and has appointed the necessary examinations.

Currently, necessary investigative measures are being carried out, based on the results of which a procedural decision will be made.
