The incident occurred on the night of January 7 in Shopokov, when during the "Wheel" raid, traffic police inspectors stopped a BMW X5 vehicle in the area of the Novostroyka residential area. During the document check, the driver raised suspicions of being under the influence of alcohol, which led to his transport to the district narcology clinic.
However, as he approached Frunze Street in the village of Sokuluk, the driver attempted to jump out of the moving car but was restrained by the inspectors.
At the narcological facility, the man had a conflict with one of the law enforcement officers, during which he tore the officer's uniform and inflicted a closed head injury with a concussion.
This incident was registered under Article 280 ("Hooliganism") of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan. Law enforcement agencies detained 30-year-old I.A., who was placed in a temporary detention facility.
The press service also noted that this citizen had previous legal issues: on February 18, 2022, in the village of Sokuluk, while driving a Toyota Land Cruiser 100, he hit two schoolgirls and fled the scene. The victims sustained serious injuries. Criminal cases were initiated under Articles 312 ("Violation of traffic safety rules and operation of vehicles") and 144 ("Leaving in danger") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which are currently in court.
