According to information received by the Internal Affairs Department of the city of Tokmok on December 4, a man reported that his red "Sprinter" was stolen on November 26 at 19:00. The vehicle was parked outside his home on Zhantaeva Street.
Based on his report, a criminal case was opened under Article 211 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the theft of motor vehicles.
During the investigation, it was revealed that at the time of the theft, the man was in a state of intoxication, drinking alcohol near the vehicle. He went to the store for another bottle, and when he returned, the "Sprinter" was already gone. He was later hospitalized for alcohol poisoning. After being discharged on December 4, he filed a report with the police.
On December 8, the vehicle was found in the Chui region and placed in a towing lot. As a result of the "Search" raid, law enforcement officers were able to identify and detain the suspect — 35-year-old I.A., who was placed in a temporary detention facility. The court later chose a preventive measure in the form of arrest for one month.
