In the Chuy region, as a result of the raid "Search", a person suspected of car theft was detained.
According to information provided by the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chuy region, on December 4, 2025, a 38-year-old citizen K.T. approached local law enforcement in Tokmok and reported the theft of his car. The incident occurred on November 26, 2025, around 19:00, when his red Mercedes-Benz Sprinter was stolen from in front of his house on Zhantaeva Street.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 211 (Theft of a Motor Vehicle) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
It was established that on the day of the theft, the car owner was drinking alcoholic beverages next to it. When he went to the store for a new bottle, he returned to find that the car was gone. He was soon hospitalized for alcohol poisoning. Only on December 4, after being discharged from the hospital, did he file a report with the police about the theft.
On December 8, the vehicle was found in the Chuy district, outside the city of Tokmok, and placed in a tow yard.
During the "Search" raid, law enforcement identified the suspect, 35-year-old I.A., and detained him in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. He is currently in a temporary detention facility, and the court has imposed a preventive measure of one month of imprisonment.
