The condition of the injured children is currently assessed as stable.
A video capturing the moment of the accident has become available on social media. The footage shows a "Lada Niva" vehicle running over the children who were on the roadside.
The accident happened on December 23, Sunday, at approximately 10:30 AM, on the Jalal-Abad—Kazarman highway, near the village of Gulistan.
The victims turned out to be brothers. They were immediately taken to the regional children's hospital in the city of Jalal-Abad.
Dr. Joomart Musaev spoke about the current condition of the boys.
“Two brothers were admitted to us as a result of the car accident. The older child has no serious injuries and has already been discharged home. The younger boy, aged 4.5 years, suffered a concussion and several abrasions. He is currently in the trauma department, and we plan to discharge him within 3–4 days,” Dr. Musaev reported.
