The incident occurred on November 20 in the village of Zherge-Tal, located in the rural district of Kök-Art. An ambulance vehicle of the brand "Honda Stepwgn" was involved in the accident.
According to Aibek Isakov, the deceased paramedic had worked in medicine for almost 40 years. "The accident happened around 7:00 PM. The ambulance crew from Zherge-Tal received a call from Kara-Cholok. During the trip, a herd of horses unexpectedly ran onto the roadway. The driver, in an attempt to avoid a collision, tried to change lanes, which led to the accident," the chief physician said.
The injured were urgently transported to the Jalal-Abad Regional Hospital; however, unfortunately, the paramedic did not survive the injuries sustained. The ambulance driver is in stable condition, although with serious injuries, including a broken leg. Investigative actions are currently underway. The doctor who died in the accident had worked in the emergency department for 35-40 years. He came in the morning to process his leave and was preparing the necessary documents. The funeral is scheduled for 3:00 PM today. He is survived by a daughter," Isakov added.
Information about the incident was also confirmed by employees of the Road Traffic Safety Department of the Jalal-Abad region.
