In Bishkek, as a result of operational work, a vehicle was stopped that was being driven by a driver in a state of alcohol intoxication, who also exhibited aggression towards the police, as reported on December 1 by the inspector of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Nadyrbek Jusupov.

The incident occurred on November 30 at around 5:30 PM at the intersection of Baytik Baatyr and Suerkulov streets, where patrol officers stopped a "Toyota Avalon" vehicle. According to Jusupov, the law enforcement officers suspected that the driver was intoxicated and requested his documents, but he began to resist.

“The driver behaved aggressively, insulting the officers and threatening them, claiming that he had connections that would allow him to avoid consequences,” Jusupov said.

During his interaction with the police, he threw keys and trash on the ground and refused to undergo a medical examination. The law enforcement officers warned him of the need to comply, but he continued to behave provocatively, which forced them to use force.

The vehicle was sent to an impound lot, and the driver was handed over to the officers of the Oktobrskiy District Department of Internal Affairs.
Jusupov noted that the detained individual had previously worked in law enforcement and had already faced legal issues for similar reasons. He was also involved in a high-profile traffic accident that resulted in the death of Saniya Shakirova, a mother of three from Kara-Balta. In 2018, she was the winner of the international Miss Universe Beauty contest held in Vietnam.

According to information from the "Turmush" editorial office, the accident occurred on June 2, 2018, on the 52nd kilometer of the Balıkchy—Karakol highway, in the village of Chok-Tal in the Issyk-Kul region. That evening, a drunk K.Ch., born in 1987, was driving a "Ravon Nexia" at high speed and lost control, veering off the road and crashing into a cemetery fence. He did not have a driver's license.

According to the decision of the Issyk-Kul District Court dated September 13, 2018, he was found guilty of violating traffic safety rules and sentenced to 10 years in prison under Article 281 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (as amended in 1997).

On February 1, 2019, the Issyk-Kul Regional Court reduced the sentence to 5 years, and on August 27, 2019, the Supreme Court upheld this decision.
