In the history of Kyrgyzstan, an interesting figure was and remains Shabdan Batyr.

In its historical development, Kyrgyzstan has gone through a long and complex path. At the end of the 19th century, northern Kyrgyzstan was annexed to Russia. This was done with the direct participation of Shabdan Batyr. In 1909, a significant and joyful event took place in Chon-Kemin - a madrasa was ceremonially opened for the education of children. This was the first specialized educational institution in Kyrgyzstan, which trained religious leaders, teachers, and civil servants. The memory of the people retains figures like Shabdan Batyr, who were at the origins of enlightenment and the establishment of statehood.

Shabdan Batyr devoted much effort and energy to ensuring that the Kyrgyz lived in friendship and harmony with their neighbors: Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and several other countries. A military man, he possessed the qualities of a good politician and diplomat, striving to resolve all conflicts peacefully. Shabdan Batyr was a brave commander, a defender of his homeland, leaving a good mark in the history of the Kyrgyz people. He immortalized his memory through his openness, kindness, justice, and generosity.

The descendants of Shabdan Batyr remember that in his time he had high authority and enjoyed great influence both in Central Asian countries and in Russia itself.
