Talantbek Karymshakov, a resident of the village of Kainy-Bulak in the Ak-Tala district of Naryn region, continues to use a car that was previously a service vehicle for local authorities.

In an interview with Turmush, Karymshakov shared that his car is a "GAZ 69," produced in 1969. The secretary of the district executive committee used this car in 1969-1970, after which it served the leadership of the district agricultural industrial association. Later, this vehicle was driven by the livestock specialist Kachkyn Abyshbaev.

“I remember seeing Kachkyn aksakal driving this service vehicle when I was a child. It was also used by Sadybakas Omorov, who held party positions and was the chairman of the collective farm 'Zhenish.' Later, the car was bought by a friend of my father, Jusupbek Shygaev, who worked on a farm. He used it until his death in 2006, after which the car passed to Rysbek Shygaev. Then I became the owner of this car and have been driving it for 15 years since,” he said.
Karymshakov noted some characteristics of his vehicle. “It has a three-speed transmission. Compared to other models, the GAZ 69 performs excellently off-road. The tires are of Soviet production. I have made partial repairs and restorations, but overall the car remains in the same condition as when it was released. I did not modify it to modern standards; the only thing I replaced is the tarp. Everything else remains original. The vehicle functions well: we drive to Son-Kul, Turuk, and Kosh-Dobo. It has never let me down,” he shared.
