A drunk repeat offender driver was detained in Bishkek: he had already been deprived of his license

A driver who already had experience of being deprived of his license for driving under the influence was detained in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek. This information was provided by the press service of the Patrol Police Department (PPD) of the city.

According to police data, the incident occurred on March 3 around 00:30, when police officers stopped a Kia Carnival vehicle. The driver, a man, showed noticeable signs of intoxication. He also refused to provide documents upon the request of law enforcement officers.

A medical examination at a narcological facility confirmed the fact of alcohol consumption. Furthermore, it was revealed that this driver had already been held accountable for a similar offense and had been deprived of his driving license. This was a repeat case within the last six months.

"A protocol was drawn up against the driver for the offense. The vehicle was placed in a towing lot, and the case materials will be forwarded to court for further consideration," the official statement said.
