The incident occurred on March 3 at around 00:30 in the Jal microdistrict on Kurchatov Street, where patrol officers stopped a "KIA Carnival" vehicle. During their interaction with the driver, the police officers suspected that he was intoxicated, especially considering his refusal to provide documents.
When inspectors arrived at the scene, the driver insisted that he had not been driving and even introduced himself as a journalist. However, upon seeing the video that recorded him sitting behind the wheel of the "Carnival," the man still refused to admit his guilt.
As a result, the offender was taken to a narcological clinic, where tests confirmed the presence of alcohol in his blood. Moreover, the check revealed that he had already been stripped of his driving license for a similar violation. This is the second case in the last six months.
A report was drawn up against the driver, and his vehicle was placed in a towing lot. All case materials were sent to court.
