Over the past three days, two incidents related to driving under the influence of alcohol have been recorded in Kyrgyzstan, involving employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Security Service. These cases have sparked widespread discussion on the country's social media.

Arrest with Resistance and Prolonged Testing

The first incident occurred on December 20. According to a report from the press service of the Patrol Police, officers noticed a "Toyota" vehicle whose driver was behaving suspiciously and attempted to stop it for a check. However, the driver did not respond to the police's signals and continued driving, stopping only after several attempts to pull him over.

The driver was a man who smelled of alcohol. When speaking with the patrol officers, he presented his service ID and admitted to being intoxicated. Later, he changed his testimony, claiming that he was not driving the car and did not wish to hand over the keys. According to one of the inspectors, the driver handed the keys to his wife, who left the scene.

The man was taken to a narcological clinic, where he initially refused to undergo testing. Ultimately, the results confirmed the presence of alcohol in his blood. A report was drawn up against him, and the vehicle was impounded.

According to the editorial office of "AKIpress Summary," this offender works in the Ministry of Internal Affairs Security Service.

Traffic Accident Followed by a Hit and Run

A video has also appeared on social media in Kyrgyzstan, where the author claims that police officers were involved in a traffic accident in the Ak-Ordo residential area and left the scene.

Nursultan Muratbekov, head of the press service of the Patrol Police, commented on this incident. According to him, on December 22 at 15:45, one of the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Security Service, S.u.K., while driving a "Nissan Almera," reversed down Barsbek Street and collided with a parked "Toyota Crown," causing scratches to the latter vehicle.

The driver was located and taken to a narcological facility, where testing showed that he was under the influence of alcohol.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Security Service announced the initiation of an internal investigation regarding this incident. Based on the results, a decision will be made regarding the application of disciplinary measures.
