According to the SCNS, on January 3, police officers in the Uzgen district exceeded their authority and made an illegal arrest of two citizens, taking them to the Kurshab police station without proper procedural documentation.
As a result, it is claimed that physical violence was applied to the detainees, leading to serious injuries for one of them, including a severe traumatic brain injury and cerebral edema.
Currently, the SCNS is conducting the relevant investigative activities.
The State Committee urges citizens to report any instances of abuse of power and other unlawful actions.
