Investigative authorities have established that the president of the Kyrgyz Kok-Boru Federation, known as "J.R.M.", fraudulently obtained 390 thousand US dollars from the head of one of the companies, promising protection from potential inspections due to his alleged close ties with the GKNB.
On December 22, "J.R.M." was detained on suspicion of committing a crime under Article 209, Part 4, Clause 1 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and was placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB.
Necessary investigative and operational measures are currently ongoing.
The president of the Kyrgyz Kok-Boru Federation is Ramis Junusaliev.
