

According to the investigation, Junusaliev, using his connections with the State Committee for National Security, deceitfully extorted $390,000 from the head of one of the companies under the pretext of protection against possible inspections.
He was detained on December 22 as part of a criminal case initiated under the article "Fraud" and placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security.
The investigation is ongoing.
Ramis Junusaliev headed the Kok-Boru Federation of Kyrgyzstan in 2023. In 2024, he was succeeded by Kurmankul Zulushiev, and then the position was taken by Aibek Abylkasymov. Later, Junusaliev returned to the position of president of the federation.
