Detention of the Blogger. Comment from the State Committee for National Security

According to the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), the author of interethnic provocative posts on social media has been detained.

In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 330 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic "Incitement of racial, ethnic, national, religious, or interregional enmity (hatred)," and the detainee T. A. D. has been placed in the pre-trial detention center of the GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic. Investigative actions are ongoing.

The GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic warns that the dissemination of false information and provocative materials calling for interethnic enmity is subject to criminal liability.
