In order to prevent interethnic strife, a citizen identified as T.A.D. has been detained, according to information provided by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
It is reported that the suspect regularly posted provocative content on social media, demonstrating his dislike for a particular nationality, which could lead to incitement of interethnic hatred and cause mass unrest.
As part of the initiated criminal case, necessary materials were collected, according to which an examination by the State Expert Examination Service of the Ministry of Justice confirmed the presence of signs of inciting interethnic hostility in T.A.D.'s publications on social media.
In this regard, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 330 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the incitement of racial, ethnic, national, religious, and interregional hatred. T.A.D. has been placed in the GKNB detention center, and investigative actions are ongoing.
The GKNB reminds of the possible criminal liability for the dissemination of false information and provocative data that may contribute to the incitement of interethnic hostility.
