According to the GKNB, a criminal case has been initiated against "T.A.D." on the grounds of a crime provided for by Article 330 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning "incitement of racial, ethnic, national, religious, interregional enmity (hatred)." During the investigative actions, it was established that the publications of the detained individual indeed contain signs of incitement to interethnic hostility.
At present, "T.A.D." has been placed in the GKNB pre-trial detention center, and investigative activities are ongoing. The GKNB also reminds that the dissemination of false and provocative information containing calls for incitement to interethnic enmity is subject to criminal liability.
