Law enforcement agencies remind about the consequences of publications on the internet
In the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), it was reported that a citizen was detained for publishing provocative posts on interethnic topics on social media. He turned out to be T.A.D., who, as law enforcement officials found out, systematically expressed his dislike for a certain nationality, which could provoke interethnic tension and mass riots.
As part of the criminal case initiated under Article 330 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, materials were collected, including an expert conclusion confirming the presence of signs of inciting interethnic hostility in the publications of T.A.D. He was detained and placed in the GKNB detention center. The investigation is ongoing.
Representatives of the GKNB once again warn the public about legal responsibility for publications on social media.
