In Bishkek, at the intersection of Chingiz Aitmatov and Moscow streets, an incident involving a father and son was reported to the Main Internal Affairs Directorate (GUVD).
The law enforcement agencies began an investigation after a video appeared on social media showing a group of people binding a man on the road.
This case was recorded in the First May District Police Department as "kidnapping," after which investigative measures were initiated.
It has been established that the incident involved a father and his adult son.
According to information from the mother, there have been complicated relations between the parents and the son for a long time, due to his health condition. The family has repeatedly attempted to place him in a medical institution; however, the young man refused and exhibited aggressive behavior, the GUVD reported.
Considering the family's request and in respect of the parents, law enforcement officials decided not to disclose more detailed information about the incident.
