The Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek reported that the issue related to the delay in the payment of wages to foreign workers in one of the sewing workshops has been successfully resolved. Foreign employees have received their money.
Earlier, a video appeared on social media where foreign workers voiced problems related to unpaid wages, as well as the confiscation of their passports and unacceptable behavior from their employer.
The police noted that the information was registered in the First May District Internal Affairs Department, and in this regard, a preliminary investigation was initiated.
"Employees of the Service for Countering Extremism and Illegal Migration of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek identified all those involved in this incident. To clarify the circumstances, they were invited to the police station. As a result of negotiations, the parties reached an agreement," the agency reported.
At this time, the conflict has been fully resolved. Based on the results of the investigation, a legal assessment will be given to the actions of all participants.
The Main Internal Affairs Directorate emphasized that the situation with foreign citizens is under the control of the leadership.
