No criminal case was opened
Information has appeared on social media that a 16-year-old girl gave birth in the Aravan district. The Internal Affairs Directorate of the Osh region confirmed that the incident was recorded, but no criminal case was initiated.
“At the time of conception, the young people were 17 and 18 years old. No statements have been received from the girl or her parents regarding the young man. The conducted check did not reveal any elements of a crime, so the decision was made to refuse to initiate a criminal case,” the Internal Affairs Directorate reported.
As for the educational institution where the girl studied, no information has been provided regarding the conduct of an internal investigation concerning the administration and teachers.
