As part of its activities to prevent interethnic discord, the GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic identified a citizen, T.A.D., who regularly published materials on social media containing personal animosity towards a specific nationality. These actions can contribute to inciting interethnic hatred and lead to serious consequences, including mass riots.
As a result of the investigation and based on the collected materials, an expert conclusion from the State Expert Examination Service of the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic was obtained. It confirmed the presence of signs of inciting interethnic hostility in the publications of T.A.D.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated in this case under Article 330 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning "Incitement of racial, ethnic, national, religious, interregional hostility (discord)." In this case, the author of the provocative posts, T.A.D., has been placed in the pre-trial detention center of the GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic, and investigative actions are ongoing.
