It has become known that a foreign citizen was detained in Kyrgyzstan for espionage. This information was provided by representatives of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).
The accused was detained during a criminal investigation under Article 324 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. He fully admitted his guilt and provided testimony.
The court, based on the collected evidence, decided on his imprisonment.
The SCNS also emphasized that it actively conducts counterintelligence activities aimed at preventing foreign citizens from interfering in the affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
