According to the investigation, the deceased had a protection order marked as "High threat level." Nevertheless, a district inspector from the Sverdlovsk District Internal Affairs Department named Zh.N. did not respond to the numerous appeals from the woman and took no measures to ensure her safety.
After the murder, the inspector attempted to cover up his actions by forging documents regarding checks at the suspect's residence.
Additionally, the SCNS established the guilt of the senior inspector of the capital's Department of Internal Affairs, A.K., who illegally issued a permit for a traumatic pistol to the suspect and renewed it even after the license had expired, failing to confiscate the weapon from the murderer.

The investigative group continues its work. The State Committee promises to provide a legal assessment of the actions of all those responsible for this tragedy among law enforcement officers.
